Job summary

BioMarin in California seeks a Senior Director of Global Sourcing & Procurement Enablement to lead procurement operations and supplier management across a global network.

You will manage a diverse team of 2-4 direct reports, partner with the Chief Procurement Officer and senior stakeholders to define and implement procurement capabilities, including analytics, category management, supplier onboarding, diversity, sustainability, risk management, and digital/AI enablement.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement Operations, and Supplier Management.
• Knowledge of Procurement tools; Ariba / SAP and CLM environment required.
• Experience with optimizing tail spend.
• Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Engagement: partner with stakeholders to develop scalable capabilities.
