BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an experienced FP&A Senior Manager to provide strategic financial support to the Global Supply Chain organization in TOPS (Technical Operations).

This role partners with Supply Chain leadership on S&OP, tariff mitigation, budget formation, forecasts, and long‑range planning. You will lead monthly/quarterly reviews, drive improvements in forecasting and reporting, and mentor junior staff while collaborating across Operations, Manufacturing, and Finance to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles, with at least 3 years supporting supply chain, manufacturing, or operations.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and performance management.
• Proficient in ERP/FP&A systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan) with advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for senior management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with proven cross-functional partnering.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and cost accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Be a key participant in the S&OP process, ensuring plans align with profitability and cash-flow targets, with financial analysis and scenario modeling.
• Optimize working capital across commercial and clinical supply chains, providing data-driven insights on historical activity and logistics spend.
• Partner with Supply Chain leadership to develop and deliver annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, presenting performance analysis, drivers of variances, and improvement actions.
• Drive process improvements in financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Commercial Finance, and Corporate Finance for cohesive planning.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to supply chain efficiency, working capital, and cost optimization.
• Mentor and develop junior finance team members and foster continuous improvement.
