Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to drive sourcing lifecycle and optimize costs. You will manage both direct and indirect procurement, negotiate contracts, and build resilient supplier networks to ensure supply continuity.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, MSAT, and AP to resolve issues, while leading KPI-driven cost savings and supplier performance initiatives. This onsite role offers comprehensive benefits and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5–8+ years of procurement experience.
• Experience with ERP / inventory control systems (Dynamics D365 preferred).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Process POs, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and monitor performance.
• Partner with AP to resolve vendor invoice issues.
• Drive sourcing strategies for raw materials and core components.
• Draft and negotiate MSAs, SOWs and SLAs.
• Manage high-value spend categories and align procurement with goals.
• Execute enterprise-wide sourcing strategies for non-production goods and services.
