Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Global Sourcing Intern for Summer 2027 to work on the Global Sourcing Team in Somerville, MA. You will collaborate with suppliers to keep the material pipeline flowing and help optimize supplier performance across cost, quality, and supply resilience.

This paid internship offers exposure to cross-functional teams and hands-on sourcing activities. You will develop market insights, engage with multiple teams, and gain leadership exposure through project management

Qualifications

• Technical or engineering background is required.
• Interest in sourcing, supplier evaluation, cost and capacity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams in person and remotely.
• Leadership exposure and project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with current and potential suppliers to maintain material flow.
• Develop strategies to optimize suppliers for cost, quality, and supply resilience.
• Assist in supply chain planning for future product rollout.
• Conduct market analysis to provide sourcing insights.
