Formlabs is building the tools that empower ideation into life, including 3D printing tech used by over 50,000 leaders worldwide. We are seeking a Global Sourcing Intern to support our Global Sourcing Team in Somerville, MA for Winter/Spring 2027.

This onsite internship focuses on maintaining the material pipeline and optimizing supplier performance across cost, quality, and resilience. The role requires a technical or engineering background, strong sourcing and supplier evaluation capabilities,

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical background required.
• Interest in supplier sourcing and assessment.
• Ability to communicate with multiple teams in person and remotely.
• Organized and able to manage concurrent conversations and projects.
• Leadership and project management exposure.

Responsibilities

• Work with current and potential suppliers to keep our material pipeline flowing.
• Develop strategies to optimize suppliers for cost, quality, and supply resilience.
• Assist in supply chain planning for future product rollout.
• Conduct market analysis to provide deep and meaningful sourcing insights.
