Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead new business growth within our SMB sales framework. You will engage a predominantly UK merchant base, craft strategic plans, and drive revenue by aligning Worldpay solutions with customer needs.

You will present to C-level stakeholders, navigate complex buying groups, and collaborate with internal teams to build compelling value propositions that accelerate deals and expand market share.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience selling in payments/fintech with a track record of solving business problems.
• Experience presenting to senior executives (C-level) and navigating multiple buyer stakeholders.
• Strong, consultative selling approach and ability to map customer needs to product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to win new business within designated sectors.
• Present value stories to customers and partners, including CFOs and CTOs, to close opportunities.
• Collaborate with virtual teams and partners to build tailored propositions for target markets.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecast and activity to maximize conversion and revenue.
