Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT, seeks a Senior Manager - SIOP & Demand Planning to lead global aftermarket forecasting and the monthly SIOP process. This role centralizes forecasting across sites to drive consistency, visibility, and accuracy, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

You will manage a team, develop forecasting strategies, monitor key metrics, and ensure SAP visibility. Collaboration with Finance, Service, Engineering, and Parts Planning is essential to meet

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with at least 7 years of experience.
• Experience leading demand planning, forecasting, SIOP, or related supply chain processes.
• Experience with SAP and other ERP systems supporting demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Aftermarket Demand Management process and demand portion of the monthly SIOP cycle, establishing standardized forecasting practices and driving alignment across sites.
• Facilitate Demand Reviews and drive consensus across functions including Service Management, Service Engineering, Parts Planning, Repair Planning, Retrofit Management, Finance, and others.
• Develop and implement statistical and direct forecasting strategies that support a dynamic business environment.
• Monitor metrics such as Forecast Accuracy, Bias, and Inventory performance.
• Lead root cause analysis after forecast inaccuracies and exceptions.
• Lead a team of Demand Management specialists and drive collaboration and skill development.
• Compare Demand Forecast with Financial Forecast and close gaps.
• Ensure demand forecast visibility in SAP and related ERP tools.
• Define, prioritize, and improve forecasting processes; capture new data sources.
• Develop and manage relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
• Act as Change Agent to share and standardize best practices across the organization.
