Cirrus in Duluth, MN, is seeking an International Shipping Specialist to manage all aspects of international shipping, including hazmat handling and coordination with freight forwarders.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics, familiarity with Shipping Solutions and ERP systems, and the ability to navigate 49 CFR and IATA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college or logistics training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping or logistics.
• Must be able to pass hazardous material training and obtain certification.
• Familiarity with 49 CFR and IATA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shipping operations for Cirrus Aftermarket outbound movements.
• Maintain flow of outbound hazardous and international shipments.
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies.
• Generate and maintain SOPs for packaging and shipping standards.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Package and ship hazardous materials per regulations.
• Prepare paperwork for shipments with freight forwarders.
• Use ERP system to process orders.
• Keep work area neat and organized at all times.
• Collaborate with inventory and QA teams to resolve issues.
