Job summary

Farouk Systems Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate transportation logistics for domestic and international shipments. You will expedite outbound shipments and train others on shipping processes, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate feedback to customers.

Responsibilities include routing, SAP order processing, Bills of Lading, and collaboration with internal sales and shipping teams. The role requires communication skills, adherence to safety practices, and problem-solving

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years in warehouse/manufacturing.
Must read and write in English and perform basic math.
Previous experience in a related position preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outbound truck routing, scheduling, monitoring and loading shipments on ship date.
Manage transportation routing with third-party logistics providers and web-based tools.
Serve as SME for parcel shipping systems including UPS, FedEx and others.
Process customer orders in SAP: create delivery orders, transfer orders, allocate materials, check inventory.
Create Bills of Lading and maintain daily shipment logs.
Coordinate shipments with motor freight carriers and liaise with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
