Job summary

TransPerfect in New York City is seeking an Account Executive to develop new business relationships and serve as the first level of support for existing clients. Responsibilities include researching prospective clients, creating accurate prospect data spreadsheets, generating daily mailings, cold calling, negotiating rates, and educating clients about our translation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
• 1–3 years of sales experience.
• Proven sales lifecycle experience - lead generation through business closing.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients through internet research, trade show lists, referrals, directories and other sources.
• Create accurate spreadsheets of prospective client data (names, titles, phone numbers, addresses).
• Generate daily mailings to prospective clients using updated data.
• Conduct cold calls to prospective clients.
• Help improve current new business development strategy through problem solving.
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with clients.
• Educate clients about the translation process, rates and turnaround times.
• Coordinate with production to ensure quality and timely delivery of jobs.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery and service.
• Research and understand industries TransPerfect markets to stay informed.
