TransPerfect seeks an Account Executive in Philadelphia to develop new business relationships and act as the first level of support for existing clients.

You will research prospective clients, build accurate data spreadsheets, generate daily mailings, and cold-call targets. Responsibilities include negotiating terms, educating clients on translation processes, coordinating with production, and ensuring top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of sales experience.
• Proven sales lifecycle from lead generation through closing.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients via internet, trade shows, referrals and directories.
• Create spreadsheets of prospective client data (names, titles, phones, addresses).
• Generate daily mailings to prospective clients with updated data.
• Cold call prospective clients and pursue new business opportunities.
• Develop strategies to improve new business development efforts.
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with clients.
• Educate clients on translation processes, pricing, turnaround times and competitors.
• Liaise with production to ensure accurate, high-quality delivery.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery and service.
• Research industries TransPerfect markets to understand leaders and events.
• Perform special projects as required.
