Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Material Planner to support Service and Accessories planning, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal inventory. You will collaborate across Service, Engineering, Demand Planning, Accessories, and Rivian’s global distribution network to execute MRP in Rivian’s ERP system and maintain supply continuity worldwide.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in Material Planning, supply chain management or manufacturing production planning.
• BA or Masters in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations or applicable discipline.
• 2+ years of related automotive industry experience and LEAN manufacturing preferred.
• Experience and knowledge in ERP/MRP with focus on product lifecycle management, EDI, BOMs, P2P; SAP preferred.
• Collaborator with a positive attitude to drive change and provide excellent customer service.
• Analytical with high proficiency in Excel; able to drive supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Support Service and Accessories Material planning to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Manage MRP planning with Rivian’s ERP system to ensure supply continuity.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and cross-functional teams.
• Review material and process flows across distribution centers to identify improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage bottlenecks and escalation meetings as needed.
• Lead process improvements using inventory optimization techniques.
