Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Supplier Development Manager to drive onboarding of high-performing suppliers and optimize the supply chain footprint. You will shape supplier qualifications, collaborate across teams, and lead end-to-end onboarding initiatives in a global aerospace context.

You will partner with commodities and stakeholders, travel extensively, and apply FLIGHT DECK principles to continuously improve supplier readiness and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 9+ years in sourcing/procurement
• Minimum 5 years in sourcing, procurement or related supply chain roles
• 5+ years of QMS experience with AS9100/ISO 9001/IATF 16949
• Experience managing suppliers in global/international supply chains
• 10+ years in sourcing/procurement or manufacturing roles
• PMP certification preferred
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes (sheet metal, casting, machining, composites, forging)
• Aerospace quality systems, lean manufacturing, materials planning, manufacturing operations knowledge
• Experience onboarding new candidate suppliers in aerospace
• Ability to assess supplier capabilities, gaps, and drive improvement
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders
• Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and supplier onboarding reports
• Strong understanding of the aerospace global supply chain

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supplier development and onboarding for assigned commodities or part families
• Assess potential suppliers with in-depth evaluations of maturity and capabilities
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop action plans for qualification and integration
• Influence cross-functional teams to ensure onboarding activities meet schedules
• Refine and scale the Supplier Development and Onboarding process using best practices
• Lead end-to-end action plans for urgent onboarding needs to meet business priorities
• Travel requirements exceed 50% (domestic and international)
