Job summary

GE Aerospace Senior Manufacturing Engineer will manage and coordinate delivery projects within the Supplier Performance & Execution Sourcing Section. You will organize and coordinate multi-functional teams to execute on product delivery improvements, support the Sourcing team and suppliers to resolve technical issues, while providing expertise to the team on manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or closely related field plus 5+ years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Production Management.
• Or a high school diploma/GED with 10+ years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Production Management.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing engineering focal for assigned supplier base and own the technical performance of multiple suppliers.
• Identify delivery barriers and resolve with fulfilment, commercial and quality teams.
• Act as Project Manager for large complex suppliers.
• Contribute manufacturing expertise across multiple part families and processes.
• Guide and influence suppliers' performance using deep manufacturing knowledge.
• Drive cost reduction within the supplier base and address cost issues.
• Support supplier selection to ensure value and work with commercial owners.
• Assist source changes and develop lower performing suppliers.
