Job summary

Biotage, a global leader in separation sciences, is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the Peptide Synthesis & Purification portfolio. This high-impact role combines strategic leadership with hands-on product management to drive growth.

You'll define strategy, lead a team of Product Managers, and collaborate with R&D, Sales and Marketing to deliver competitive solutions across the SMST and Scale-Up ranges within the DDD business. Travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
• Significant experience in Product Management or Strategic Marketing within life sciences.
• Strong technical expertise in peptide synthesis and purification.
• Experience managing global scientific product portfolios.
• Proven leadership coaching Product Managers or teams.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle plans.
• Drive commercial performance including revenue growth and profitability.
• Define product positioning, pricing and value propositions.
• Translate customer insights into winning product strategies.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and partnerships.
• Lead cross-functional global product launches.
• Partner with R&D to shape future technology development.
• Monitor portfolio performance and market trends.
• Build relationships with customers, KOLs and partners.
• Lead and develop Product Managers across multiple families.
• Align strategies and roadmaps across technologies and customer workflows.
• Represent portfolio in senior leadership discussions.
