Job summary

Elastic seeks a Principal Security Specialization to lead the strategy and execution of global security services. You will shape service offerings, drive high-value use cases, and ensure readiness with product roadmaps.

This role partners with Product and Engineering, leads ARB governance, and supports sales and delivery of complex engagements. You will lead cross-functional teams, define scalable security assets, and mentor team members while travelling up to 25% to meet client and field needs

Qualifications

• 10+ years in professional services, consulting, or related field.
• Deep expertise in security technologies, frameworks, and applications, with hands-on experience implementing security software and solutions.
• Proven ability to define and execute a global strategy for security adoption, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive innovation.
• Knowledge of security tools, scripting, and related technologies, with experience creating reusable assets and scalable solutions.
• Successfully managed complex projects with timelines, resources, and on-time delivery.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and build trust with stakeholders.
• Deep technical expertise in system architecture, including Elasticsearch and Elastic Solutions.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop clear, value-driven security service offerings meeting customer needs and market demand.
• Identify high-value security use cases across industries and create frameworks for their implementation.
• Build, automate, and streamline processes for developing and deploying security solutions.
• Drive scalable, ethical, and impactful security solutions to ensure measurable outcomes while supporting sales and delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison for security initiatives, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders.
• Monitor and ensure high-quality sales and delivery of Security engagements.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and drive co-innovation.
• Align service readiness with the product roadmap and development timelines.
• Lead ARB governance discussions and help shape technical direction.
• Contribute to promotion panels ensuring objective criteria are applied.
