Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Elastic Security to own the product direction for our strategic enterprise customers. You will manage a pipeline of enhancement requests, translate customer needs into shipped features, and collaborate with product, sales, and engineering to align roadmaps with market opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience in B2B enterprise software
• Experience with named strategic accounts and revenue impact
• Security domain experience with SIEM/SOAR/XDR or similar platforms
• Ability to translate customer needs into coherent product direction
• Strong executive-facing communication and relationship management

Responsibilities

• Own the enhancement request pipeline across multiple strategic enterprise accounts
• Translate customer requirements into shipped products with a clear product direction
• Turn input from strategic accounts into successful products and cross-account patterns
• Feed validated customer patterns into core product roadmaps
• Serve as primary product voice in meetings with senior stakeholders (CISO/CTO/VP Security Operations)
• Prioritize requirements using RICE, weighted scoring, and opportunity sizing
• Write actionable specs with engineering and assess feasibility independently
• Support deal cycles via RFP responses and security questionnaires
• Navigate contractual expectations vs. internal roadmap with transparency
• Create artifacts (roadmaps, dashboards, memos) for visibility
• Advocate for customer needs while balancing market priorities
