Job summary

Addepar seeks a Sr. Manager, Security Operations to lead a global team within the Information Security & Risk organization. You will own daily operations, act as incident commander, and partner with a 24/7 MSSP to detect and respond to threats.

Shape detection strategy and modernize SecOps with AI and automation across time zones. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in security operations, lead teams, and are hands-on with AWS security. Strong communication with leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading security teams.
• Experience as incident commander for security incidents and postmortems.
• Hands-on AWS experience including investigating security events in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of Addepar’s Global Security Operations team.
• Act as incident commander for major security incidents and coordinate across time zones.
• Own the relationship with the 24/7 MSSP and manage escalation paths and service quality.
• Define and execute the detection strategy and health of the SIEM environment.
• Drive AI/Ops modernization to speed up triage, investigation, and response.
• Develop incident response documentation, playbooks, and training materials.
• Maintain post-incident accountability and drive root-cause remediation.
