Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Sr. Manager, Security Operations to lead the Global Security Operations team within its Information Security & Risk organization.

You will own day-to-day detection and response, act as incident commander for major incidents, and partner with our 24/7 MSSP to ensure threats are identified and handled quickly. You will modernize SecOps with AI and automation, develop the team globally, set roadmaps and OKRs, and deliver post-incident improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response
• Ability to work core business hours in Eastern Time (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET) if working remotely
• 3+ years of people management experience, mentoring security teams
• Experience as incident commander for security incidents and postmortems

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of Addepar’s Global Security Operations team
• Serve as incident commander for major security incidents
• Own the relationship with the 24/7 MSSP and manage escalations and performance
• Own our detection strategy and the health of the SIEM environment
• Drive AI-enabled modernization (AIOps) to speed triage and response
• Create and maintain incident response playbooks and runbooks
• Track root causes and drive preventive fixes with cross-functional teams
• Define SecOps KPIs and report to security leadership
• Promote security awareness across the company through exercises and training
