Addepar is seeking a Sr. Manager, Security Operations to lead our Global Security Operations team within Addepar’s Information Security & Risk organization. You will own day-to-day operations, act as incident commander for security incidents, and partner with our 24/7 MSSP to ensure threats are identified and handled quickly.

• 8+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Hands-on with AWS and cloud security incidents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Strong communication with leadership and ability to lead under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Lead the day-to-day operations of Addepar’s Global Security Operations team and serve as incident commander for major security incidents.
• Manage and develop a globally distributed team, provide mentorship, set roadmaps and OKRs, and manage on-call coverage across time zones.
• Own the relationship with our 24/7 Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), including escalation paths and vendor performance.
• Own our detection strategy and health of our SIEM, tune alerts, expand log sources, and ensure scalable coverage.
• Lead modernization of SecOps with AI and automation to speed triage, investigation and response.
• Build and own incident response documentation, runbooks, and training materials.
• Maintain post-incident processes with action items across teams for immediate fixes and longer-term improvements.
• Identify recurring root causes and partner with Engineering/Infrastructure/Security/Product to deliver preventive fixes.
• Define and track SecOps metrics and report monthly to leadership.
• Champion security awareness through tabletop exercises and training sessions.
• Participate in a global on-call rotation including outside-hours responses.
