Fullscript is hiring a Staff Security Engineer to define and drive AI‑assisted SecOps across cloud, identity, endpoints, and applications. You will architect detection, automate investigations, and lead incident response with engineering partners.

You’ll own the detection lifecycle, implement AI‑augmented workflows, and mentor the SOC. This role includes on‑call responsibilities and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to scale security across the platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in detection engineering, incident response, or security engineering.
• Practical experience incorporating AI tooling into SecOps workflows.
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Experience managing security controls as code (Terraform).
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS) and modern SaaS/identity stacks.
• Hands‑on incident response experience: triage, investigation, containment, postmortem.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and translating it into practical detections.
• Excellent written communication for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead detection engineering and defensive strategy across Security, Platform, and Engineering teams.
• Architect and maintain advanced detection logic across SIEM, cloud, identity, endpoints, and AI pipelines.
• Design AI‑augmented SecOps workflows to accelerate triage and containment.
• Automate handoffs between detection tooling and ticketing systems to reduce manual work.
• Lead security investigations end‑to‑end and mentor SOC members.
• Conduct defensive testing, purple/red teaming, and validate detection resilience.
