Job summary

Affirm, Inc. seeks a seasoned security leader to head global investigations and incident response as the company scales internationally. You will guide complex investigations, build readiness, and shape AI-enabled workflows with human oversight and safeguards.

You will manage a technically deep, engineering-oriented team, set priorities, coach engineers, and drive improvements across regions, with executive dashboards and board-level reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead major security incidents and investigations in cloud-native environments.
• Strong technical foundation in security operations, with depth in investigations, detection, and forensics.

Responsibilities

• Lead security incidents and investigations end-to-end from detection to post-incident review.
• Act as incident commander for major events and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Guide investigations with engineering teams, validate fixes, and drive durable corrective actions.
