I.T. Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Security Operations to lead our 24/7 SOC. This hands-on leadership role will drive AI-powered threat detection, incident response, and security automation in a SOX-regulated environment.

You will oversee incident response, threat hunting, and the optimization of SIEM, SOAR, and EDR/XDR platforms while mentoring SOC analysts and security engineers. Remote work is available with onsite options in Walnut Creek, CA or Chicago.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations, incident response, or threat detection.
• 3+ years leading a SOC or Security Operations team.
• Deep expertise with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and incident response.
• Experience in SOX and SOC 2 Type 2 environments.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/LLMs to security operations and automation.
• Strong communication skills with technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day SOC operations across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Serve as Incident Commander for major security incidents.
• Drive AI-powered security operations, automation, and threat detection initiatives.
• Lead detection engineering, threat hunting, and response improvements.
• Own and optimize SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Develop incident response plans, playbooks, and automation workflows.
• Partner with IT, Cloud, Risk, and Compliance teams to strengthen security posture.
• Mentor and develop SOC analysts and security engineers.
