Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Associate Director SCM business processes to join the Lucerne planning Hub, leading global inventory, IQV, LROP, and production plan development for forecasts and budgets. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, engineering or computer science or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of working experience in supply chain management.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
• Proven experience in supply chain data analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate mastery of Kinaxis Rapid Response scenario planning platform.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Comprehensive understanding of company product lines and supply chains (physical and financial).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and adapting to change.

Responsibilities

• Serving as SME for relevant processes and leading training and on-boarding meetings.
• Establishing timelines and communicating key activities to stakeholders.
• Generating reports, analyzing data and presenting to senior management.
• Working closely with E2E planners, Product Leaders and GLP planners to ensure successful execution of business processes.
• Maintaining, developing, and enhancing IT infrastructure to run the respective business processes.
• Collaborating with Financial Services including COSI, FP&A and Treasury to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Providing support for processes including IRL, Qlik reporting, KPI Reporting tool and master data.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains within the supply chain.
• Collaborating with digital support groups to develop and implement process improvements and system design changes.
