Job summary

Merck & Co. in the United States seeks an Associate Director for Direct Global Supply Chain Management Business Processes to lead key SCM and manufacturing operations processes, including global inventory, IQV, LROP, and production plan development for financial forecasting and budgeting.

You will collaborate with E2E planners, product leaders, and GLP planners, while driving IT infrastructure improvements and data-driven insights to optimize supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, engineering or computer science.
• Minimum of 6 years of working experience in supply chain management with project management skills.
• Proven experience in supply chain data analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Mastery of Kinaxis Rapid Response scenario planning.
• Excellent communication skills in English with cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity.
• Comprehensive understanding of product lines and supply chains (physical and financial).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for relevant processes and lead training onboarding meetings.
• Establish timelines and communicate key activities to stakeholders.
• Generate reports, analyze data, and present to senior management.
• Work closely with E2E planners and Product Leaders as well as GLP planners for successful execution.
• Maintain, develop, and enhance IT infrastructure to run the processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, COSI and Treasury to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Support IRL, Qlik reporting, KPI reporting tools and master data.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with digital support groups to implement process improvements.
