Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director/Direct Global Supply Chain Management Business Processes to lead key SCM and manufacturing operation processes in the Lucerne planning Hub. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in supply chain management with multi-project delivery experience.
• Proven data analysis experience in manufacturing environment.
• Mastery of Kinaxis Rapid Response scenario planning platform.
• Excellent English communication, cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with strong data integrity understanding.
• Knowledge of company product lines and supply chains (physical and financial).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for key SCM processes and lead training/on-boarding.
• Set timelines and communicate activities to stakeholders.
• Generate reports, analyze data, and present to senior management.
• Collaborate with E2E planners, product leaders, and GLP planners.
• Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure for process execution.
• Coordinate with FP&A, Treasury and other services to deliver outputs.
• Provide support for IRL, Qlik reporting, KPI tools and master data.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify improvements and optimization.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Partner with digital support groups to implement system changes.
