Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an entry-level Supply Chain Planner to join our Manufacturing Division in a hybrid US-based role.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing to analyze demand forecasts, monitor supply plans, and address imbalances to ensure on-time, in-full delivery. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and cross-functional teamwork across global manufacturing networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Supply Chain / Logistics, Pharmacy, Engineering / Biotechnology, Material Science, or related field.
• 1+ year experience in Supply Chain Management or related.
• Proficient MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand demand forecasts and historical sales trends.
• Monitor supply plans to exceed service levels while maintaining inventory targets.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Distribution & Logistics, Marketing and Finance to resolve imbalances.
• Maintain accuracy of demand and supply planning systems.
• Lead or participate in projects to improve business processes.
• Provide training and coaching to Demand Fulfillment Planners.
