Jacobs seeks a Global Market Principal – Science & Technology to drive growth for universities, research labs and interdisciplinary facilities. You will define strategy, align regional plans, and connect regional opportunities with Jacobs’ global capabilities across design, delivery and commercialization.

The role focuses on achieving scalable market plays, engaging executive stakeholders, and advancing technology-enabled environments while partnering with education and research institutions

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting Science & Technology clients, higher education institutions, research facilities, laboratory environments or complex capital programs.
• Demonstrated success in market growth, client development and strategic pursuits.
• Strong understanding of research environments, laboratory planning and design, innovation ecosystems and emerging technology trends.
• Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level client and partner relationships.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across geographies and organizational boundaries.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to travel globally as required.
• Strong understanding of the future of research and innovation, including higher education, interdisciplinary science, academic–industry partnerships, commercialization and technology-enabled research environments.
• Proven track record of developing global market strategies and scaling capabilities across regions.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the global Science & Technology growth strategy in alignment with Jacobs’ long-term objectives.
• Establish scalable market plays across higher education research, interdisciplinary science, research laboratories, computational science, quantum research, innovation ecosystems and emerging technologies.
• Translate global priorities into regionally relevant growth plans reflecting funding, investment, regulatory and market conditions.
• Partner with regional leadership to prioritize investments based on market opportunity, strategic fit, margin potential and enterprise adjacency.
• Monitor research funding, scientific advances, technology trends and evolving client requirements to inform market strategy.
• Support regional leadership in developing market credibility, qualified pipeline and pursuit discipline.
• Connect regional opportunities with Jacobs’ global expertise, experience and delivery capabilities.
