Job summary

Sompo is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Vice President, Salesforce to lead the development and delivery of Salesforce solutions across the organization. This role partners with the business on product definition and leads a distributed team across the US and Europe.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of Salesforce platform expertise, delivery leadership, business partnership, and people management experience to ensure scalable, effective solutions aligned with business

Qualifications

8+ years’ experience in Salesforce development and administration.
5+ years leading Salesforce delivery in a complex enterprise environment.
Experience in financial services or insurance; preferred.
Strong understanding of insurance operations and business processes.
Experience managing geographically distributed teams across regions/time zones.
Strong business partnership, stakeholder alignment, and product definition skills.
Solid SDLC and structured delivery practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, enhancement, and support of Salesforce solutions for Sompo.
Manage the delivery of multiple Salesforce-based initiatives and products.
Partner with business stakeholders to define product roadmaps, priorities, and solution requirements.
Lead and develop a high-performing diverse team of 10-15 developers and business analysts across the US and Europe.
Drive collaboration across technology and business teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Work with architecture, infrastructure, security, data, QA, and biz teams to deliver integrated Salesforce solutions.
Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, testing, release, and change management standards.
Promote Salesforce best practices across development, administration, and platform management.
Manage risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery timelines across a portfolio of work.
Provide reporting and updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, issues, and outcomes.
