Job summary

Sompo is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President, Salesforce to lead the development and delivery of Salesforce solutions globally. This leadership role shapes Salesforce capabilities, partners with the business on product definitions, and guides a distributed team across the US and Europe.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of Salesforce platform expertise, delivery leadership, business partnership, and people management experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in Salesforce development and administration.
• 5+ years of proven experience leading Salesforce delivery in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations and preference for financial services/insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, enhancement, and support of Salesforce solutions for Sompo.
• Manage the delivery of multiple Salesforce-based initiatives and products.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define product roadmaps, priorities, and solution requirements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing diverse team of 10–15 developers and business analysts across the US and Europe.
• Drive collaboration across technology and business teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Work with architecture, infrastructure, security, data, QA, and business teams to deliver integrated Salesforce solutions.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, testing, release, and change management standards.
• Promote Salesforce best practices across development, administration, and platform management.
• Manage risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery timelines across a portfolio of work.
• Provide reporting and updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, issues, and outcomes.
