Job summary

Sompo is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President, Salesforce to lead the development and delivery of Salesforce solutions across the organization. This role partners with the business on product and solution definition and leads a distributed team across the US and Europe.

The ideal candidate has Salesforce platform expertise, delivery leadership, and people management experience to ensure scalable, effective solutions aligned with business priorities in a global environment.

Qualifications

8+ years’ experience in Salesforce development and administration.
5+ years of proven experience leading Salesforce delivery in a complex enterprise environment.
Experience managing Salesforce solutions within financial services or insurance preferred.
Strong understanding of insurance operations and related business processes.
Experience leading geographically distributed teams across regions/time zones.

Responsibilities

Lead development, enhancement, and support of Salesforce solutions.
Manage delivery of multiple Salesforce-based initiatives and products.
Define product roadmaps, priorities, and solution requirements with business stakeholders.
Lead a high-performing distributed team of 10–15 developers and business analysts.
Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, testing, release, and change management.
