Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. in Texas seeks a seasoned Sales Training Leader to develop and deliver comprehensive training for the US and global sales teams. You will manage product knowledge, competitive analysis, and sales process enablement across in-person and virtual formats.

You will collaborate with Global Training, Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Affairs to design programs, certify trainers, and drive learning outcomes. Strong communication, public speaking, and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high tech, medical device sales or training.
• 5+ years of OR experience with capital medical instruments (ophthalmology/phaco preferred).
• Experience developing/implementing sales training programs or field trainer experience.
• Strong knowledge of sales activities, principles, and processes; can identify, implement and analyze training needs.
• Experience measuring training effectiveness.
• Strong relationship-building, leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent presentation/facilitation skills in virtual and live settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead training for US/global sales leadership, reps, and affiliates on Carl Zeiss Meditec USA products.
• Lead training on sales processes, methodologies, tools and practices.
• Conduct field-based training, coaching, assessments and certifications.
• Maintain LMS Trainer certifications and use global training materials.
• Collaborate with global trainers on US sales training needs.
• Provide on-site and virtual sales support for Carl Zeiss Meditec USA products.
• Lead training for cross-functional teams (marketing, clinical, operations, etc.).
• Prepare customer-centric training materials for US products.
