Job Summary

The Global Sales Director will be responsible for mentoring, developing, and overseeing a team of global sales representatives across a portfolio of strategic accounts at SHI. The Director is tasked with working collaboratively with team members to expand SHI’s financial footprint within existing and future customers by offering a broader set of products and services, thereby maximizing value and ensuring long-term success.

The Global Sales Director will report to the Global Sales Vice President – Financial Services. This position is remote but may require reporting to SHI Headquarters in Somerset, NJ, as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives within customer organizations.
  • Partner with sales leadership and vendor partners to provide value through strategic relationships and continuous improvement.
  • Implement sales strategies to meet financial targets, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Lead and collaborate with the sales team, serving as a role model internally and externally.
  • Understand customer needs and develop tailored technology solutions.
  • Mentor and develop sales and support staff.
  • Create growth plans and set objectives for individual and team performance.
  • Communicate value propositions effectively through proposals and presentations.
  • Represent SHI at industry conferences and stay updated on market trends and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
  • At least 10+ years in major account sales, preferably with financial services experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years managing a team of global sales representatives or handling major global accounts.
  • Experience with large system integrators, VARs, or OEMs.
  • Understanding of the industry.

  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales from planning to closing.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and resolve complex situations.

  • Technology sales certifications.
Unique Requirements
  • Global travel and frequent travel within the U.S., approximately 30%.
Additional Information
  • Estimated annual pay range: $250,000 - $350,000, including base salary and commission, depending on experience and market.
  • Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
