Job summary

Ingevity seeks a Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to lead global S&OH programs across our manufacturing sites, advancing safety culture and compliance. You will serve as a subject matter expert, partner with site teams, and drive company-wide standards and training initiatives.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, 7+ years in S&OH roles, and the ability to influence across all organizational levels.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in chemical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in S&OH roles at manufacturing locations.
• Experience leading global S&OH programs at corporate or multi-site level.
• Strong regulatory knowledge relating to S&OH.
• Certified Safety Professional or CIH preferred.
• Proven ability to influence across all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead global S&OH programs across sites.
• Partner with Safety & Health teams at manufacturing sites.
• Develop and maintain S&OH standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Oversee S&OH and process safety related EHS systems.
• Lead audits and investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with HR and Medical on workers' comp and surveillance.
