Job summary

Prometheus Group, a leader in Enterprise Asset Management software, seeks a Revenue Manager to oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition, close processes, and cross-functional reporting. The role partners with Sales, Legal and Operations to ensure proper deal understanding, billing and governance across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in revenue accounting, including leadership, and strong ERP/Sage Intacct and Salesforce experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in revenue accounting with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 in SaaS/software environments.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and BI/reporting tools.
• Proven track record in process improvement and cross-department collaboration.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to translate accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition for customer contracts.
• Manage revenue close process, journaling and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Operations for deal understanding and reporting.
• Oversee automation of revenue allocations and SSP updates.
• Evaluate contract modifications and accounting treatments for changes.
• Support revenue workstream for acquisitions and deferred revenue alignment.
• Develop advanced reporting on revenue, contracts, and profitability.
• Mentor revenue accounting staff and provide training.
