Job summary

Pilot seeks a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to lead the revenue function for a high-growth SaaS company. You will own the end-to-end revenue cycle, including contract review, billing, recognition, and close, while building scalable processes and controls.

The role requires deep ASC 606 expertise, hands-on SaaS systems experience, and strong collaboration with Sales, Legal, and FP&A. Location is San Francisco, with a 3‑day office week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years progressive revenue or technical accounting in SaaS.
• Experience with SaaS revenue models and ASC 606.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue life cycle from contract review to month-end close.
• Oversee revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and contract assets/liabilities.
• Ensure accurate, timely recognition under ASC 606 and establish controls.
• Lead O2C processes, SSP methodology, and SSP updates.
• Coordinate SFDC, Zuora, and ERP data flows and reconciliations.
• Develop reporting, analytics, and audit-ready documentation.
