Job summary

Sovos is hiring a Senior Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate global revenue recognition under ASC 606 and to build scalable revenue processes as the company expands across 70+ countries. You will perform journal entries, manage deferred revenue, and partner cross-functionally with IT, FP&A, and acquired entities while driving policy improvements and leveraging AI tools to streamline revenue operations.

Experience in SaaS revenue and NetSuite is preferred; CPA or active pursuit is required, and

Qualifications

6–8 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in revenue recognition.
CPA certification or active pursuit; ERP experience; NetSuite preferred.
Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred; background check and drug test may apply.

Responsibilities

Perform global revenue recognition accounting under ASC 606 across geographies.
Prepare monthly revenue journal entries, deferred revenue schedules, and reconciliations.
Maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Identify opportunities to streamline revenue processes and automate with IT and AI tools.
Assist post-acquisition integration of revenue accounting.
Serve as SME on ASC 606 and train finance team and stakeholders.
