Job summary
Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled contracts attorney to join a fast-growing SaaS company's legal team in Austin, TX. You will review, draft, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts, MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs, while guiding them through the lifecycle from intake to renewal.
You will optimize legal operations, implement templates and CLM workflows, and responsibly deploy AI tools to boost efficiency with proper oversight.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3-7+ years of contract review, research, drafting experience.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements with customers, partners, or vendors.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, redline, and negotiate commercial agreements (SaaS, MSAs, NDAs, DPAs).
- Own contract lifecycle from intake to renewal, track deadlines and obligations.
- Improve legal operations, templates, approvals, and reporting; support CLM migration.
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining oversight and confidentiality.
- Spot legal/privacy issues in agreements and escalate as needed.
- Support corporate matters, entity management, and records maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and scale as the company grows.
