Job summary

ABB is seeking a senior S&OP Leader to drive the Sales & Operations Planning process across a global manufacturing footprint. You will design, implement and govern the S&OP and S&OE processes, connect demand and supply planning, and lead cross‑unit programs to improve On‑Time Delivery, lead times and plan accuracy.

Reporting to the GPG Manufacturing Unit Manager, you will collaborate with global stakeholders, run the monthly supply planning drumbeat and mentor the Planning & Fulfillment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, production planning, or IBP in manufacturing.
• Advanced experience with Anaplan and SAP APO or similar planning tools.
• Proven experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites and balancing demand across a global footprint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate unit-specific and cross-unit projects to improve On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, Lead Time and Plan Accuracy.
• Design and implement the S&OP process from an operations perspective (supply planning and reconciliation).
• Stakeholder management and definition of roles within the S&OP process.
• Governance of the monthly Global Business Supply Planning drumbeat and related KPIs and reporting.
• Connect the S&OE and S&OP processes and develop the S&OE enhancements.
• Facilitate the Supply Planning drumbeat, reviews and approvals to improve demand–supply balance.
• Identify and propose projects using SAP MM, SAP PP and advanced planning tools.
• Perform analyses related to S&OP and S&OE metrics and root-cause investigations for improvements.
• Act as SME for S&OP and S&OE, share best practices and run cross‑unit assessments.
• Build competencies by training and coaching the Planning & Fulfillment community.
