Job summary

Gore & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Global Planning Leader to drive the global S&OP process, lead a multi-region planning team, and partner with commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and finance to align forecasts and supply plans.

The role focuses on improving forecast accuracy, inventory performance, service levels, and planning maturity through SAP S/4HANA-enabled processes, with hybrid work options at Newark, DE or Elkton, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or business or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain/planning, including 5+ years in people leadership.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and improving planning processes.
• Experience leading or owning an S&OP process with governance and cadence.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in complex environments.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and digital tools to improve processes.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Own the global S&OP process end-to-end with disciplined cadence and alignment across regions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the multi-region planning team to strengthen capability and consistent ways of working.
• Optimize SAP S/4HANA-enabled planning processes and partner with digital teams for configuration adoption.
• Drive demand and supply planning process excellence with common methods, tools, KPIs, governance, and standards.
• Monitor planning performance and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy and service levels.
• Partner with commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and logistics teams to align forecasts and trade-offs.
