Job summary

Lumicity is building a robotics platform and seeks a Global Supply Chain Manager to own sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for robotic components. You will lead global supplier relationships to secure parts from the right suppliers at favorable terms.

This highly hands-on role partners with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure parts availability, manage risks, and scale the supply chain as the company grows in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain.
• Experience with global supplier networks (US, Asia, Europe).
• Strong negotiation and cost-saving skills.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical components and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing and procurement for robotic components.
• Develop a global supplier network across US, Asia, Europe.
• Qualify, onboard suppliers; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive cost, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure component availability.
• Establish sourcing strategies for critical/high-volume parts.
• Lead cost-down initiatives as the company scales.
• Travel internationally to visit suppliers and factories.
• Build supply chain processes and infrastructure.
