Job summary

WEX, Inc. seeks a Global Risk Operations Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives across Collections, Billing, and Treasury Operations.

You will drive governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-impact projects supporting over $100B in payments and $10B in assets. You will partner with risk leaders to align initiatives, manage portfolio risks, and provide executive-level updates on progress and financial impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 7-10 years of experience managing a portfolio of interrelated initiatives within a financial risk operations environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deconflict resources and timelines across multiple workstreams to ensure consistent delivery of high-scale financial initiatives.
• Proficiency in project management and visualization software (e.g., LucidChart, Draw.io) to translate complex workflows into visual artifacts.
• Functional understanding of compliance and operational risk management to ensure Domain Leaders are engaged for the validation of SOX, SOC, and regulatory control integrity.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze, and present complex findings to drive decision-making.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and initiative identification across Global Risk Operations.
• Oversee Capital Funded Initiatives and Product/Technology roadmaps with priority on operational requirements.
• Provide governance of the project portfolio and align releases with funding objectives.
• Maintain executive visibility with high-level progress, blockers, and financial impacts.
• Drive risk mitigation and escalate only critical items to senior leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions and translate workflows into visual artifacts.
• Build relationships across senior management, sales, account management, legal, audit, and risk teams.
