Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Process Engineer 2 - Global Service/Reverse Logistics at its U.S. headquarters in the Kansas City area.

You will lead global reverse logistics processes including receipt, disposition, recertification, repair, rework, and recycling, driving efficiency and ensuring fast support for Garmin customers. You will work with cross-functional teams, lead small sub-projects, develop CAD tooling, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with design for manufacturability

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent.
GPA 3.0+ as a general guideline.
Proficiency with industry standards and engineering tools.
Lean techniques in process development.
Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support test equipment and procedures; monitor metrics and escalate improvements.
Assist R&D with automation concepts and recertification/repair processes.
Collaborate with automation and design engineering teams; assist in project coordination.
Develop CAD models and tooling; create revision-controlled documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in Kaizen teams.
Ensure compliance with product specifications and pursue quality improvements.
