Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer 2 on our Outdoor product team at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Excellent academics (GPA ≥ 3.0).
• CAD software knowledge and the ability to model moderately complex parts.
• Proficient use of relevant engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Create moderately complex mechanical designs for Garmin or OEM products.
• Model complex parts as an expert CAD user.
• Participate in design reviews and provide comments on mechanical designs.
• Plan tests to validate moderately complex systems.
