Job summary

Amerant Bank in Florida seeks a seasoned Relationship Manager to develop and manage personal and commercial international clients' book of business, promoting bank products while ensuring compliance with regulations. You will grow deposits, support loan portfolios, and deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in international banking, bilingual English/Spanish, and a finance/business background (MBA a plus).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance or business preferred, MBA a plus.
5–7 years of experience in International Banking; bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

Promote banking products by visiting customers and assessing needs.
Develop cross-selling activities for assigned customers and meet sales quotas.
Handle cash secured loans and investments secured loans.
Review daily overdraft reports for approval/denial.
Monitor loans to avoid past dues and follow up with customers for payments/renewals.
Provide financial services for personal and commercial international needs, building deposit/loan relationships.
Deliver exceptional customer service in person, by phone, or email while maintaining confidentiality.
Monitor deposit balances to uncover opportunities.
Approve loans and other credit transactions within lending authority; handle LC and standby LCs.
Ensure compliance with BSA/AML, OFAC, and internal policies.
