Job summary

Lion Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & International Logistics Coordinator in American Fork, UT. You will manage day-to-day procurement and the international movement of products, coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, brokers, warehouses, and internal teams.

The role covers purchase orders, payments, production follow-up, shipping, customs clearance, and record reconciliation using NetSuite. Strong organizational skills and cross-time-zone collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a closely related role.
• Experience creating and maintaining purchase orders in an ERP system; NetSuite preferred.
• Knowledge of international freight, customs-clearance processes, and trade documentation.
• Strong data-management, tracking, and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved forecasts, BOMs, inventory levels, and project needs into timely purchase orders for goods, tooling, samples, and supplies.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations including price, lead times, terms, and landed cost.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding; collect W-9s, catalogs, pricing, and vendor documentation.
• Create, revise, and close purchase orders in NetSuite with correct vendor, SKU, and routing.
• Maintain visibility to open POs, escalate delays, and resolve workflow errors.
• Review pro forma invoices against POs and resolve discrepancies before payment or shipment.
• Coordinate deposits, payments, and approvals with Finance and Accounts Payable.
• Track supplier milestones and communicate cost/schedule changes.
• Maintain supplier relationships and resolve quality or delivery issues.
