Job summary

Takeda Cambridge is seeking an Associate Director, Global Publications Lead to shape the strategic global publication plan for assigned assets, align with medical strategy, and drive delivery of abstracts, manuscripts, congress presentations and plain language summaries. The role requires leadership of cross-functional teams and effective stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's level degree in life science or healthcare required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of biopharmaceutical publications experience for Bachelor's; 8+ years for Master's; 6+ years for Doctorate.
3–5+ years in scientific publications/publication planning within a global matrix environment.
Strong knowledge of drug development, clinical trial design, biostatistics and clinical data reporting.
Deep knowledge of good publication practice, authorship, disclosure, and reporting guidelines (GPP, ICMJE, CONSORT); CMPP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the global publication plan for assigned asset(s).
Lead Publication Team meetings and oversee abstracts, manuscripts, congress presentations and plain language summaries.
Lead cross-functional planning with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, and external authors; align priorities and timelines.
