Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join the Global Public Sector Legal Compliance team. You will support attorneys advising on compliance matters for Amazon's public sector business worldwide, including government contracting, procurement regulations, post-government employment, political law, gift compliance, and conflicts of interest across jurisdictions.

You will draft and maintain SOPs, manage compliance documentation, and partner with business teams to implement requirements,

Qualifications

4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
Experience working with cross-functional teams across business development, marketing, operations, product development, legal, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting policies, SOPs, or compliance communications

Responsibilities

Draft and maintain SOPs and internal guidance.
Support compliance program operations across government contracting, post-government employment, political law, gift compliance, and organizational conflicts of interest.
Partner with business teams to implement compliance requirements, develop training and communications, and project manage portions of company-wide compliance initiatives.
