Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an Associate Corporate Counsel to support the public sector sales teams on Federal Government contracts and compliance matters. You will review procurement contracts, advise on licensing terms, and translate complex regulations into practical strategies for government engagements.

You will collaborate with sales and business teams to align legal risk with business goals, interact with government stakeholders, and help ensure compliance in national security

Qualifications

Juris Doctor and bar admission in one state
Knowledge of government contracting laws including FAR and DFARS
2+ years of post-bar admission legal experience

Responsibilities

Review and negotiate government contracts involving Federal Government customers, including technology licensing arrangements
Advise AWS sales and business teams on Federal Government procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS
Develop and lead AWS litigation strategy at GAO, COFC, and Boards of Contract Appeals
Analyze and address contract compliance issues to ensure AWS meets all federal requirements and contractual obligations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop legal strategies that balance business objectives with regulatory requirements
