• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• 13+ years of post bar admission legal experience.
• Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams.
• 10+ years of litigation and regulatory experience.
• Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle and supervise a wide range of government disputes and regulatory engagements across all of Amazon’s businesses.
• Interact directly with government officials at local, state, and federal levels.
• Direct overall case and matter strategy; select and manage outside counsel; assess risk with senior leadership.
• Counsel internal stakeholders on complex legal and policy issues; manage all stages of litigation including discovery.
• Develop skills of junior team members and identify process improvements.
